Hello, I'm Domenico, from Italy,
I might move my hands while I talk and judge your every pizza-related choice, but other than that, I am easygoing (my friends tell me). In my free time, you might find me peacefully ambling through the forest, soaking up peaceful vibes, only to cap it off with a fireside meal. Or, I might be in my natural habitat, glued to my gaming chair doing solo or co-op games while munching snacks.
This duality ensures that my bank statements are an almost poetic mix of outdoor gear and gaming purchases. Don't ask me how many unplayed games I have in my library or how many backpacks I have spread around. Because I don't have any, wink-wink.
I'm also the person who knows about that scary show you're into, and I'm all in for talking about weird movies and what they might really mean. At work, Design has been my dream job since I was little. I’ve always believed that good design is key to making businesses better. I bring this passion to every project and meeting I'm part of.

I created user-centric digital experiences through user research, wireframes, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. I used design thinking to deliver intuitive and engaging interfaces that met business goals and user needs.
Concept Lead • 2023
Responsible for providing a creative vision for our CO2HERO app. Leading the product team, with focus on UI/UX and the development of new features as well as expanding existing features for our mobile app and portal. Participate in the development process from definition through design, build, test, release, and maintenance.
Head of Design • 2022- 2023
Developing and implementing a product strategy that aligns with the
overall goals and objectives of the organization. Managing team's workflow and priorities, including delegating tasks, setting deadlines, and reviewing work.
Digital Designer • 2019 - 2023
Designing User Interfaces ready to be scaled across many
products, markets, and devices. Managing research, ideation, and testing of designs, and facilitating implementation with developers.
Art Director • 2019
Collaborating with the creative team and other departments to develop strategies and designs that align with the company and project’s goals. Developing and managing brand guidelines to fulfill the company’s digital and print needs.
Director of Marketing & Design • 2017 - 2019
Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and design strategy that aligns with the organization's business goals and objectives. Specifically focused on packaging design,
branding, and SoMe campaigns.

Collaborate with external agencies, vendors, and partners to develop and execute marketing and design initiatives. Maintaining and improving ZD’s brand guidelines. Deliverables vary from digital (UI&UX and Some) to print (Posters, flyers, business cards, etc.).

My process
1 - Discovery and Research
To understand the problem or challenge, it is critical to allocate time for discovery and research. Achieving clarity and gaining insights are crucial for the product's success
2 - Strategy and Planning
With a clear understanding, it's time to develop a strategic plan. This includes defining goals, objectives, and KPIs. Breaking down the goal into smaller objectives and laying them down in a roadmap is part of this step.
3 - Design and Execution
Once a solid strategy is in place with enough clarity to visualize a solution, design can begin. Starting from low-fidelity concepts, all the way up to prototypes, this step is broken down into multiple touchpoints.
4 - Measurement and Optimization
After launch, the work doesn't stop. Using feedback from users, data analytics, and any other available insight after launch, is the only way to craft added value. Making strategic adjustments and optimizations to achieve better results.
